The incubation of green, low-carbon industries is of great importance for industrial optimization and upgrading and the realizing of national strategic goals in carbon peaking and carbon neutrality ('dual carbon' goals). In this context, Shanghai International Carbon Offset Technology Expo (CO expo China) is set up under the framework of IE expo China, the largest environmental protection exhibition in Asia and the second largest across the world. "Focusing on carbon offset technology and exploring future zero-carbon technology", CO expo China also features a simultaneous high-end industrial forum focusing on the broad market demands, striving to promote the deep integration of industrial chain and innovative chain. The 2nd CO expo China was held concurrently with IE expo China from April 18 to 20 in 2024 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre, creating a synergistic effect between pollution reduction and carbon reduction that gained wide praise from participants. CO expo China 2025the second edition of the event, is scheduled to take place from April 21 to 23,2025 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre. It will offer a high-end green and low-carbon industry exchange platform that encourages intensive engagement of all stakeholders to jointly promote the R&D progress of low-carbon, zero-carbon and negative-carbon technologies as well as the development of new, low-carbon industries
